Caracas, July 27 (RHC)-- The governor of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, denounced this Saturday that authorities disbanded a criminal gang that intended to attack the regional and national electricity system.
This gang was flagrantly arrested at the Ureña substation, when they created conditions to blow up the transformers and leave the Táchira states without electricity, along with Merida, Trujillo, Barinas, Apure, Zulia and Yaracuy.
They were arrested less than 24 hours before the start of presidential elections in Venezuela.
