Caracas, August 15 (RHC)-- The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello denounced this Thursday that the extreme right opposition is conceiving a plan to generate new violent events in the country on Saturday, August 17th.

Insisting that this plan is being organized with gangs from the Petare parish, in Miranda state, the Chavista politician specified that “this is not a false positive. None of that (…) we are not interested in violence, it is of interest to others, to terrorists,” he reflected.

Likewise, the PSUV leader urged Venezuelans to be alert to the possible influence of the far right.  Indicating that the people of the Miranda parish are extraordinary, wonderful, Diosdado Cabello reaffirmed that there are “gangs of criminals who want to take over, as if it were a territory to generate violence.”

He also said, in relation to the violent plans that involve said territory that they come from “people from outside: Álvaro Uribe, groups of hitmen,” referring to the former Colombian president.

Meanwhile, he noted that the opposition for Saturday is looking for people who generate violence, and “kill other people of their own.”

In the program that he hosts, Con el Mazo Dando, Diosdado Cabello presented an audio, where two criminals can be heard.  One of them calls himself “Puma,” talking about what they plan to do next Saturday, August 17th.

According to Diosdado Cabello, the audio was presented to show evidence of “what they are preparing.  “I denounce it, because, ladies and gentlemen, we told you before the elections: take care of your children, do not allow them to manipulate you.”
