Caracas, August 19 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has accused opposition representative María Corina Machado of having a pact with billionaire Elon Musk during the March for Peace that took place in the Venezuelan capital.

"That's why I say that we are facing a satanic Goliath.  Elon Musk was afraid, he withdrew from the battle," Nicolás Maduro declared before thousands of supporters.

In recent weeks, Elon Musk has made several posts on X against the Venezuelan government, which has generated exchanges of statements between the Venezuelan president and the magnate.

Faced with Elon Musk's interventionist statements, Nicolás Maduro ordered the suspension of the social platform in the country for ten days for inciting hatred, pending a definitive administrative measure.

During a popular rally in Caracas, the Venezuelan head of state called for a great process of construction of the 7T plan towards 2031.  Nicolás Maduro called on Venezuelans to connect with the Venezuela of love and to maintain a dialogue without foreign intervention.

Likewise, he highlighted that more than one hundred cities were mobilized throughout the country, and the people know that they are fighting to have a Homeland for young people.

The president commented that the opposition suffered three defeats on the same day: “The Miami influencers have been defeated; the former opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia, whom the president described as “irresponsible and cowardly” for remaining in hiding; and the third defeat is “that the Sayona deflated.  The Sayona failed.  They don't want it even in the opposition.”

The results of the presidential elections on July 28th accredited Nicolás Maduro with a third term, but the extreme sector of the opposition did not recognize the vote, generating disturbances and chaos in the first days after the election.

The Venezuelan government denounces that the purpose of the opposition and extreme right-wing sectors is to depose President Maduro by violent means, with the support of the United States and the disregard of Venezuelan institutions, especially the National Electoral Council (CNE).
