Caracas, August 24 (RHC)-- Venezuelan social movements have presented a document to the Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, in support of the Law against Fascism, after a march in which thousands of people participated in support of legal regulations.

After receiving the document, Rodriguez warned that the extreme right wants the country to hand it over to the hegemonic powers.

“To give it to the United States, to the governments of Europe, to give away our natural wealth to turn Venezuela into a sheep, along with many others that the U.S. government already has,” Rodríguez said.

In this line, the vice-president recalled that these “sheep governments” follow the “rude” instructions of the United States,  by wanting to convert Venezuela into a government of that caliber.  But they have come up against a nation [Venezuela] of “strength, sovereignty, dignity, self-determination.”

“We have never been nor will be sheep of any foreign government.  We have never been nor will we ever be sheep of the United States of America,” said the senior Venezuelan official.

Delcy Rodriguez referred to the episodes of betrayal that the South American country as experienced -- the farce of the self-proclaimed president Juan Guaidó, who gave away Citgo and Monomers, leaving havoc in the oil industry.

She added that “they stole (the) resources (of the country) in the ships of the west, they stole gold in the bank of England without even having political power in Venezuela.”

The vice-president said that the constant hate attacks against President Nicolás Maduro are nothing more than the face of the classist, racist and divisive attitudes that characterize the extreme right and its representatives, which spread in a network all over the world, with “anachronistic, anti-human and violent thoughts that promote death.”

“As they led Europe to the Second World War, they intend today to lead humanity to another world war already of nuclear dimensions,” she stressed, noting that it is an honor for Venezuela “to be the one who is giving examples to the world of standing up to fascism.”

On the other hand, Delcy Rodriguez also added that the Argentinean president, Javier Milei, is another of the representatives of fascism who rejoices to dismiss 200,000 civil servants.  According to the vice-president, Milei “is deeply happy when they have to take the medicines from grandparents and grandmothers of Argentinean,” assuring them that this is not what they want for Venezuela.

“I know that it's not, because on July 28th the Venezuelan people ratified in the presidency of the Republic to President Nicolás Maduro… (ratifying) the popular democracy.” Rodriguez said, calling the deputy and invalidated María Corina Machado a
"coward," who orders criminals to “burn police stations… and health centers.”

And the Venezuelan vice-president lso said that those who support an economic blockade against the country “do not care about the humble people of Venezuela” because for them, the people are “disposable.”
