Santo Domingo, September 3 (RHC)-- Political organizations and the Dominican Popular Movement condemned this Tuesday the "total subordination" of the Luis Abinader government to the United States, regarding the spurious confiscation of a Venezuelan plane on Dominican soil.

The statement, made public on Tuesday, condemns "that Abinader governs the Dominican Republic as a colony of the United States and is complicit in the theft of Venezuelan assets."

The note explicitly rejects "the kidnapping and theft of the Venezuelan aircraft by the United States government with the complicity of the puppet government of Luis Abinader and the Modern Revolutionary Party."

The statement says that this "confirms that the government of Luis Abinader is in total subordination to the dictates of Washington and in defense of its imperial interests, without caring about violating the Constitution of the Republic and International Law."

The signatory organizations, which include the Caamañista Movement, the Force of the Revolution, the Dominican Popular Movement, the Mocano Movement of Solidarity with the Peoples / Rebel Movement, state that, in this way, “all the principles that govern international relations have been violated” and that in this context “the Dominican Government disrespects the principle of non-intervention in the internal affairs of other states.”

The note further warns “the Latin American peoples that they must prepare themselves to avoid being dragged by the empire into uncertainty and war.”

Other organizations, including the Patriotic Committee “Francisco Alberto, the People for Political and Social Change, the Solidarity Agenda, the Afro-Dominican Action, the Boschist Force -in the PLD-, the Feminist Coordination of the Left and the CLOC Via Campesina, Dominican Chapter, deplore “that the Attorney General of the Dominican Republic lends itself to applying actions contrary to constitutional principles and playing into the hands of the United States Government to justify its actions” "based on falsehoods."

They reiterate that the Dominican Republic is "a country of peace" and reject "this act of vulgar piracy by the United States Government in complicity with the subservient Dominican Government."

Finally, they demand "the immediate return of the aircraft from the United States" and "respect for the legitimate Constitutional Government of Venezuela," while "together with the best of the Dominican people, we support the Legitimate and Constitutional Government of President Nicolás Maduro Moros."
