Caracas, September 16 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil has described the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Security and Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, as a spokesman for evil, after he described the Government of President Nicolás Maduro as "dictatorial" and "authoritarian."

“When we say the garbage dump of history, we refer to the place where Borrell is now, from interview to interview, spokesman for evil, a withdrawal from politics with his hands stained with blood, doubly failed in his attempts to harm the Venezuelan people, inventing fictitious governments (Guaidó 1.0 and 2.0),” said the Venezuelan foreign minister on his Telegram channel.

In that sense, the Venezuelan government representative said that Borrell is turning “the European Union into a decrepit, colonialist and warmongering institution.”

“Shame on you!  We say it here in Venezuela to refer to such a dark legacy of a third person like Borrell,” the text indicated.

With this message, the foreign minister responds to Borrell's statements where he alluded to the departure from the country of the former opposition candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, who arrived in Spain last Sunday, and where he has requested asylum.

Last August, the Venezuelan government denounced that Borrell was one of those who supported the fascist coup d'état from Europe.
