Venezuelan president invites left-wing movements to join the Anti-Fascist International

Mexico City, September 27 (RHC)--At the International Seminar of the Labor Party (PT) in Mexico, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro urged participants to collaborate in the creation of a global struggle agenda from the Anti-Fascist International, which was presented at the recent world congress against fascism held in Caracas.

Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, attended the XXVIII International Seminar "The Parties and a New Society" in Mexico and transmitted a message from President Nicolás Maduro.  The leader of Venezuela expressed his gratitude for the strong support given to the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian Revolution through a video conference.

Maduro expressed his gratitude for the strong support for the Venezuelan people and the Bolivarian Revolution, and praised the work of the PT of Mexico in bringing together and coordinating leftist parties and movements around the world every year.

In addition, according to a Telegram post by Deputy Minister Peña, he urged joining efforts from the Antifascist International as a space for the articulation of anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, anti-colonialist, anti-patriarchal and anti-racist struggles to build a global struggle agenda.

The event, which is taking place in Mexico City, runs through Saturday, September 28th, and is addressing important issues such as the challenges and possibilities facing left-wing movements in the current global environment.  In addition, there are 133 parties and organizations present, 271 international delegates and more than 400 national delegates from 47 countries on four continents.
