October 2: Axis of Resistance operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 41,800 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Wednesday, Oct. 2, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Oct. 2:

Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the Al-Tannour neighborhood, east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, with appropriate weapons.

Hezbollah's operations on Oct. 2:

Targeted an Israeli infantry force that tried to infiltrate Odaisseh from the direction of Khallet Al-Mahafer with appropriate weapons, followed by fierce clashes.

Fired a surface-to-air missile at an Israeli military helicopter in the airspace of the Beit Hillel settlement, forcing it to retreat.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the Shomera settlement with a rocket salvo.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the Shtula settlement with two Burkan missiles.

Targeted a large Israeli infantry force in the Misgav Am settlement with rockets and artillery shells.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces and their artillery positions south of Kiryat Shmona with a rocket salvo.

Targeted the Zar’it barracks with a salvo of Katyusha rockets.

Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the Avivim settlement with a large missile salvo.
