Gaza City, October 22 (RHC)-- The Government Media Office in Gaza says Israeli forces have prevented the entry of “more than a quarter of a million trucks of aid and goods” since the genocidal aggression on the besieged territory began in October last year.

The office said this was part of Israel’s strategy of “reinforcing the starvation policy and using it as a weapon of war against civilians and against children, especially by preventing the entry of food, baby milk and nutritional supplements”.

Before the start of the aggression, some 500 trucks carrying aid and other goods would cross into Gaza daily.

In some cases, illegal Israel settlers have physically placed themselves in front of trucks trying to deliver aid to Palestinians.  They openly call for depriving Gazans of food and water.

Blocking the passage of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid, one settler who was draped in an Israeli flag screamed: “The enemy is to be killed, not fed.”  Orit Rosenfelder, 22 years old, said: “All the aid that comes through this port goes to support our enemies, so that they can continue killing us" -- failing to explain how small toddlers can be a threat, except perhaps to throw baby food at heavily armed Israeli troops.
