Gaza City, October 31 (RHC)-- The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says Israeli forces have been "deliberately" burning shelters for displaced people in north Gaza.
PRCS spokesperson Raed al-Nims in remarks on Wednesday said that the situation in the north had been "catastrophic." "Residents are calling for help to save the wounded," al-Nims said. "The number of martyrs is rising due to the inability to treat them."
He added that the priority was to stop the aggression in the northern part of the besieged Palestinian territory and allow the entry of ambulance teams.
Northern Gaza has been under a brutal offensive and blockade for consecutive 25 days preventing fuel, food and medicine from entering.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says at least seven “mass casualty incidents” have occurred as a result of the Israeli aggression over the past week, including four in the north of Gaza.
Israel began its campaign of genocide in Gaza onslaught on October 7, 2023, after Hamas-led Resistance groups carried out the historic Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the usurping regime in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.
So far, the occupying regime has killed more than 43,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children in Gaza.
