Caracas, November 1 (RHC)-- The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Thursday that his government recovered the country from the conspiracy and from the more than 930 criminal sanctions that the United States (US) imposed to defeat the Bolivarian Revolution.
During the celebration of the first anniversary of the Great Mission Venezuela Women, in the Teresa Carreño theater in Caracas, the head of State affirmed that the Venezuelan people have faced several challenges, but are moving towards a more prosperous nation.
“Without a doubt and clearly, we have managed to recover the country from the permanent conspiracy and from the more than 930 criminal sanctions that were launched against the Venezuelan economy and society. Together we have faced great challenges, and every day we advance towards a more prosperous future,” said the president.
Likewise, he stressed that to guarantee peace in the South American country, the country faces an opposition that intends to continue demanding economic sanctions.
"Venezuela is prepared and willing to guarantee peace, stability, harmony, democracy and freedom for the people, in the face of the extreme right that is betting on ambushes, conspiracy and those who continue to call for sanctions against the Venezuelan people and nation."
Venezuela advances in the protection of women
Recognizing the importance of the role of women in Venezuelan society, the dignitary specified that it is a “central issue on the country's political and cultural agenda.”
In this regard, he emphasized that 6,245,489 women have registered to date in the Great Venezuela Women Mission, representing all the states of the country, while notifying the registration of 392 Committees of Women Leaders.
The president also referred to the scope and lines of action aimed at strengthening the socialist program in the Bolivarian nation, for which he set a goal to establish 1,000 teams that promote the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement, in the 1,000 best organized communes of Venezuela.
The Venezuelan leader also indicated the need for a large congress of Venezuelan women to take place before the end of the current year.
In the current year 2024, Maduro said that 105,601 credits and financing have been granted to entrepreneurs, and the goal is to reach one million entrepreneurs. He also addressed that some 593,000 women are linked to active programs for comprehensive training.
Likewise, 113,000 degrees and certifications have been awarded, as one of the best causes that have been supported; while 1,721,000 women have received comprehensive medical care.
Nicolas Maduro requested that before November 15th, the board of directors of the Great Venezuela Women Mission must submit the plan that will govern this project for the next six years of government.
