Nicolás Maduro calls for peace to continue to prevail in Venezuela
Caracas, November 10 (RHC)-- During the inauguration of the XXI National Sports Games "Oriente 2024", Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro called to take care of peace and allow it to continue to prevail in the country.
“Peace is the guarantee of happiness, of construction, it is the guarantee of coexistence, of harmony. That is why we must take care of peace as the supreme good, without peace we would not have a sports movement like the one we have, nor would we have National Games, nor would there be anything. Peace is the most precious child that the Homeland has. We must take care of it and we must allow peace to continue prevailing above all else,” said the Venezuelan president.
In relation to the youth games, the Venezuelan head of state recalled that they are part of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle. Maduro pointed out that efforts, work, methodology, professionalism, science and resources must be invested in the sports movement so that the country takes on a new momentum.
“And we will be watching the young people of Venezuela all these days, because we have to raise the Olympic athletic movement of Venezuela with more strength. I felt very excited, I tell you, very excited to see that Venezuela is following a path of stability, peace, happiness for the people,” said the Venezuelan president.
