Caracas, November 12 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced that a Great National Congress will take place from November 14th to the 16th. The meeting will debate the proposals that emerged in more than 90 thousand assemblies held nationwide, in which more than 3 million 200 thousand Venezuelans participated.
"In what country, today, a president of the Republic, in office and reelected, calls on an entire people to think about the Homeland and build the future?" said the Venezuelan leader during a meeting to review preparations for the Great National Congress. He took the opportunity to present three important proposals for national transformation.
The president led a meeting with the coordinators of the Five Generations that forged the Revolution, in view of the Great National Congress of the Historic, Bolivarian, Popular, Socialist Block, for the 21st Century.
The Head of State convened the Great Congress of the Historic Bolivarian Block and invited the so-called Five Generations (Heroic Precursor, Founder, Golden Intermediate, Young and Brilliant), and the seven forces that make up the social fabric of Venezuela.
The meeting was held in order to generate a platform for debate and discussion in view of the process of transformation and the territorialization of political and government dynamics, reported the presidential press.
Regarding the meeting, Maduro presented three products to guarantee: the first is the concrete action agenda of the 7T, which he defined as true and inclusive democracy to empower Venezuelan men and women. According to the president, the debate must be the new hegemony.
The 7T Plan covers the period from 2025-2031 and is based on the strategic planning methodological concept of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías and seeks to address the country's needs through lines of action.
He presented a second product: The refoundation of the State, which will be based on justice and direct democracy, with a focus on the territory and the people: "We are going to shake the foundations of the Venezuelan bourgeois State and build a communal, democratic and people's State," said Maduro.
Finally, he presented a third product: Vision 2054. This strategic plan aims to consolidate the nation as a power in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean: "This is a great task!" was the call for all Venezuelans to join this objective.
The meeting took place in the Boyacá Room of the Miraflores Palace. The Council of Vice Presidents of Government, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, and the Political Council were also present.
