Caracas, November 30 (RHC)-- The Lebanese people managed to stop the Israeli aggression, said Nicolás Maduro, and celebrated the signing of the ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel.  But he warned Lebanon that it must be careful with the diplomacy of deception that hides this agreement.

"Do not trust the armistice agreement.  Netanyahu is a criminal.  And when he desperately signed the ceasefire agreement, it is because he was on the ropes," said the Venezuelan president this afternoon during the International Conference in Solidarity with Palestine.

The president reminded the fascists of Tel Aviv that humanity is watching them, and directed all his solidarity towards the Lebanese people and their struggle for peace.

Maduro denounced the cruelties of the Israeli criminals, who did not achieve their objectives: "They could not enter by land, the Lebanese people stopped them and what they did was criminally murder more than 4,000 Lebanese in their apartments and buildings."

"Be careful with that peace agreement.  From Venezuela, we celebrate the peace agreement, and we congratulate the people of Lebanon, but be careful, because you have in front of you some criminals who hate and want to exterminate the Arab and Palestinian peoples, to take away their lands and take away all their wealth," said the head of state to his Lebanese colleagues.

As proof of this, he pointed to the offensive of terrorist groups in Syria, fueled by Israel just days after signing the agreement with Lebanon.

"Look, they sign the agreement, and then they go to Syria, and they launch an offensive of terrorist groups.  They feed new terrorist groups, they use the Israeli and American air force to bomb the Syrian army, the Iranian forces that are supporting the Syrian people against terrorism (…).  They are signing one day here, and the next day they are launching an offensive to reconquer the city of Aleppo and several cities in Syria," he said about these Zionist crimes.

The Venezuelan president took the opportunity to ask the Jewish people to stop the genocide that Netanyahu and his government are carrying out against Gazan civilians and in all the occupied areas, because "Yesterday it was Hitler, today it is Netanyahu," he said.  And he pointed out that the culprit of both genocides is the same: wild imperialist capitalism.

In this regard, he said: “This is not a fight between Jews and Christians, between Christians and Jews or Muslims.  This is a fight against colonialism.  This is a fight against a project of extermination.”

Maduro recalled the importance of mobilizing the social and political movements of the world in this context of weakness and collapse of the United Nations, of being in the streets and speaking the truth, in order to provide a force of hope for permanent mobilization.
