Damascus, December 16 (RHC)-- Media reports say that Israeli forces may have used tactical nuclear weapons in an attack on Syria.
Authorities in Damascus report that Israel targeted a series of facilities and ammunition warehouses located in the governorate of Tartus, triggering a 3.2 magnitude earthquare in the area.
While Tel Aviv has always refused to confirm or deny the possession of nuclear weapons, it is common knowledge in the international community that Israel has maintained a nuclear stockpile for many years, going back to its collaboration with the racist South African apartheid regime in the 1970s and 80s.
