The Venezuelan president highlighted the lessons and victories of 2024 in a year-end message, calling for national unity and work to advance the country's transformation project.

Caracas, January 1 (RHC)-- The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent an emotional New Year's message on December 31, in which he described 2025 as a year of "blessings, miraculous times, and great transformations."

In a national radio and television broadcast, as well as in messages posted on his social media, the president reviewed the achievements of his administration during 2024, highlighting the victories achieved in peace, justice, and truth.

"How many lessons and struggles does this 2024 leave us with." "It was a year in which national unity prevailed over fascist violence, guaranteeing the tranquility of the Homeland," affirmed the Head of State.

Maduro also thanked the Venezuelan people for their "awareness, loyalty, deep love, and willingness to work," recognizing their fundamental role in overcoming adversities.

In his message, Maduro highlighted that 2025 will be a key year to advance the "Simón Bolívar National Project" and the Seven Transformations (7T) plan, focused on economic recovery and the strengthening of the Social Welfare State. "We are entering a new stage to consolidate a society of free men and women, based on the values of socialism and Christ the Redeemer," he expressed.

The re-elected president also emphasized the importance of civic-military and police unity to guarantee peace and confront threats against the country.

In an optimistic tone, he assured that the coming year will bring more work, unity, and happiness for the Venezuelan people. "What lies ahead in 2025 are blessed and beautiful times, to advance in the great transformations that our homeland needs," he emphasized.

The leader of the Bolivarian Revolution closed his message with a call to continue building an independent and prosperous Venezuela. "Great blessings are coming to Venezuela." "Congratulations to everyone, happy 2025!  We will always see each other united in heart," he declared.  Tonight, a mega-concert is scheduled at the Miraflores Palace, where the president will celebrate the start of the new year with his cabinet and the Venezuelan people.
