Kuala Lumpur, January 22 (RHC)-- The 10 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have welcomed the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, calling for the full implementation of all phases of the deal.

“We also call for a full, safe, rapid, and unhindered delivery of humanitarian assistance for the Palestinians,” the regional grouping said in a statement, which also called for the release of Israeli captives from Gaza and Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.
