Buenos Aires, March 1 (RHC)-- Israeli troops have been identified in southern Argentina, circulating under the guise of tourists.

The Onda Azul hotel located in Lago Puelo, located in the province of Chubut, has seen the presence of officers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), who arrive in the Argentine Republic as if they were backpackers presenting themselves as ordinary tourists.

These Israeli soldiers, experts in weapons and explosives, have an international arrest warrant for crimes against humanity in Palestine, but they are currently seen walking around Patagonia dressed as tourists, like thousands of others.

In this regard, the Hind Rajab Foundation denounced soldiers Yuval Vagdani and Saar Hirshoren, members of the 749th Combat Engineering Battalion of Israel, through the Argentine National Government, for war crimes and for "their role in the intentional demolition of areas, cultural spaces and vital infrastructure, in violation of the Geneva Treaties and the Rome Statute."  To date, Vagdani returned to the country; but Hirshoren remains on the run.

It should be noted that the NGO Hind Rajab Foundation was created in tribute to a 5-year-old Palestinian girl, killed during an Israeli offensive in Gaza.  In a statement, the Foundation said that "Argentina, as a country that ratified the Rome Statute, has the obligation to investigate and judge individuals accused of such serious crimes."

The complaint is pending in Federal Court No. 3 under the direction of Daniel Rafecas, who is on vacation during the current judicial calendar, so the guilty verdict was left in the hands of Judge Ariel Oscar Lijo.  "So far, no action has been taken on the matter," says the Enfant Terrible website.

Among the details reported by residents of the Lago Puelo sector in Chubut, is that the Onda Azul hostel, which houses the Israeli soldiers, is extremely close to the most significant recent fire outbreaks in Patagonia.

In this same context, for the media specialized in political analysis, Encuestas y Estadísticas Latinoamericana, @Estadisticas_LA, the accusations have generated concern about possible covert agreements between both governments, Argentine and Israeli, and the true purpose of these activities in Argentine territory.
