Gaza City, March 24 (RHC)-- After Israel resumed bombing Gaza, the Ministry of Health of that Palestinian territory reported this Sunday that the Zionist entity killed at least 39 civilians over the past 24 hours.

"Gaza Strip hospitals have achieved 41 martyrs (including two 'inshala' martyrs, 'may I hope' in Arabic) and 61 wounded," the ministry said in a statement.  According to the report, two bodies were found in the rubble on Sunday, while an unspecified number of bodies remain buried under the ruins or dumped in the streets, and are impossible to access due to the cruel bombings of the Israeli occupation.

One of the bombings hit the emergency building of the Nasser Medical Complex, located in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. The attack, which according to preliminary reports killed two people and injured eight others, started a fire in that area of the hospital.

Resumed on March 18 and condemned by the international community, the Israeli bombings threaten a fragile truce agreed upon with the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas in mid-January.

The ceasefire envisions the release of Israeli hostages held in Gaza in exchange for Palestinians held in Zionist prisons.  From March 18 to the present, the Israeli occupation has killed 673 Palestinian civilians and injured 1,233 in Gaza.
