Sanna, April 14 (RHC)-- The U.S. military has launched a new wave of airstrikes against Yemen, targeting multiple sites across the country, including the capital, Sana'a, and the western province of Hudaydah.
Yemen’s official Saba news agency, citing a security source speaking on condition of anonymity, reported that three U.S. airstrikes targeted the Bani Hushaysh district in Sana’a province late on Friday.
One airstrike hit the Wadi al-Ajbar area in the Sanhan and Bani Bahlul district, according to al-Masirah television channel. The report did not specify casualties or the extent of infrastructure damage resulting from the bombardments.
Elsewhere, in the strategic coastal province of Hudaydah, two airstrikes hit a location in the Bura district. No casualties were reported.
The U.S. military also launched a series of airstrikes on the al-Abdiyah and Majzar districts of the central province of Ma’rib. There were no immediate reports of casualties or the extent of the damage.
In response to continued Israeli aggression against Gaza and ongoing U.S.-UK aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.
As the genocidal war against Gaza intensified, the Yemenis implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt the flow of military supplies to their adversaries and exert pressure on the international community to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza come to an end.
