Dallas, December 25 (RHC)-- A Dallas police officer has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman three times while on duty. Officer David Kattner forced the woman to perform sexual acts while he had his hand on his duty weapon, the Dallas Morning News has reported.

The officer had told the woman to follow him to an undisclosed location while wearing a police uniform and driving a marked patrol car. The cop and the woman were spotted by detectives, who stopped and interviewed her as she was leaving.

The woman said she had previously been abused twice by the police officer who showed her arrest warrants and told her that he knows where her daughter lives. She added that she was afraid of the safety of herself and her child and had to comply with what Kattner said.

Kattner was later arrested and taken to the Dallas County Jail. Officials at Dallas Police Department said Kattner was accused of making prostitutes perform sex acts yet it was not immediately clear if the victim was a prostitute.

The incident came at a time when tensions were running high over police brutality and racial profiling against African Americans, which has led to massive protests across the country.
