The families say that they will continue searching for those students, and requested support from society to find them.

In front of members of social, union, rural organizations, institutions, teachers and students, participants also spoke so there are no elections in the state of Guerrero.

They have demanded that the General Attorney Office of the Republic (PGR) open a new inquiry to investigate the Army's responsibility in the violent events that occurred in the Guerrero municipality of Iguala.

Local publications reported rallies in Colima, Tamaulipas, Sinaloa, state of Mexico, Baja California and Oaxaca, among other Mexican states that joined the action day.
