Benghazi, March 2 (RHC)-- Two people were killed and seven others injured when two rockets hit a populated area in Libya's northeastern city of Benghazi, a medical source says. The mortar attack hit Sidi Hussein neighborhood in Benghazi on Sunday, the source from Al-Jalaa Burn Hospital said on condition of anonymity.
The shells were fired from Benghazi's al-Sabri area, which has witnessed fierce clashes between the Libyan army and militants in the last four months, the source quoted eyewitnesses as saying. Some other sources, however, put the number of the wounded at 30. Reports say it was not clear whether the shells were fired intentionally or were stray.
