Buenos Aires, March 10 (teleSUR-RHC)-- Cast members of the French reality TV show “Survival” are among ten people killed when two helicopters collided Monday in Argentina.

The crash occurred in the mountainous part of La Rioja province, some 700 miles north of Buenos Aires. It is reported that two Argentine nationals were killed in the crash.

Weather conditions at the time of the incident are said to have been favorable; not contributing to the mid-air collision.

Provincial spokesman, Horacio Alarcon, said that the two helicopters appeared to have collided during filming of the international endurance and survival competition, which is filmed yearly in the province. The pilots were also killed and are yet to be identified, along with the other victims.

Authorities have begun an investigation into the matter.
