At Least Eight Killed in Terrorist Rocket Attacks in Syria

Damascus, May 1 (RHC)-- At least eight people have been killed in rocket attacks by Takfiri militants in the Syrian cities of Aleppo and Dara’a.

According to Syrian police officials, two rockets fired by the Takfiri militants hit the Public Park in the central part of the northwestern city of Aleppo on Thursday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported. The officials said that as many as 34 other people, including women and children, sustained injuries in the attack.

At least one more citizen was killed and six others suffered injuries in terrorist rocket attacks on the southwestern Syrian city of Dara’a. Cities and towns across Syria have frequently come under bomb attacks as well as mortar and rocket fire by militants since crisis erupted in the country more than four years ago.

On April 26th, terrorists launched rocket attacks at al-Neil Street in the city of Aleppo, leaving three civilians dead. The city was later struck by another rocket attack, in which two people were killed and 50 others injured in the two neighborhoods of al-Tilal and al-Qassr al-Baladi.
