Sanaa, September 21 (RHC)-- At least 25 civilians have been killed in Saudi airstrikes against residential areas in the Yemeni capital city of Sanaa. A number of people were also wounded after Saudi warplanes targeted the districts of Hasbah, Sawan as well as a sports stadium in the capital on Monday, Yemen's Saba Net news agency reported.
Meanwhile, Yemen's Ansarullah fighters and allied army units carried out retaliatory attacks on Saudi soil, killing three Saudi soldiers. The Saudi soldiers lost their lives when the allied forces launched an attack on al-Jalah military base in Saudi Arabia's southern border region of Jizan on Sunday.
Yemeni military sources confirmed earlier in the day that they had downed a Saudi Apache helicopter in the al-Safer area in the central Ma'rib province.
