Managua, October 13 (PL-RHC)-- The Americas' Indigenous Parliament (PIA) will organize a conference and will invite all lawmakers related to issues of native peoples of the continent, according to parliament president Ausencio Palacios.
He made the announcement in Managua during the session in the Nicaraguan National Assembly devoted to celebrate the Day of the Indigenous Resistance, on the 523rd anniversary of the beginning of European conquest and colonization.
Regarding the international agenda of the authority he presides over, Palacios reported that it was related to Nicaragua, because this Central American country hosts the IPA Permanent Secretary's Office.
Among the most recent agreements he mentioned the accord signed with the Central American Parliament for information transfer and to establish a monitoring office in Guatemala.
He also announced the signing of an agreement soon in the same reference, with the Chinese Congress.
