Havana, October 15 (RHC-PL) -- Some 90 Brazilian firms will participate in the 33th Havana International Trade Fair (FIHAV 2015), to be held at Expocuba exhibit center from November 2nd to the 7th.

The Director General of the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) in Cuba, Hipolito Rocha Gaspar, told Prensa Latina news agency that 45 Brazilian firms from almost all sectors, including food, beverages, shoes, agriculture, industry, machinery and equipment, will present their products on the stands of the Brazilian Pavilion (No.20), where a seminar on investments will also be held.

A mission of the Federation of Industries of Sao Paulo (Fiesp), comprising 27 firms, will take part in this trading pool, one of the largest in the region. In addition, at least 18 firms of the Federation of Trade in Goods and Services and Tourism of Pernambuco will also showcase their goods and services.

A delegation of the Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Businesses is also expected to visit Fihav 2015. The attendance of Brazil, Cuba's second trading partner in Latin America after Venezuela, has been increasing through the years, reflecting the diversification of the bilateral trade relations.

Exhibitors from more than 70 countries are expected to attend the fair, 10 more than last year, Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment and also president of the Organizing Committee of Fihav, Rodrigo Malmierca revealed in a press conference recently.
