Damascus, January 20 (RHC-PL)-- Syrian Armed Forces inflicted more than 80 casualties on terrorist groups of the Islamic State in the last 72 hours, especially in the northern region of Deir Ezzor.
According to military reports, camps and vehicles of the group, responsible for the recent deaths of about 300 civilians in the nearby village of Baghaliye, were destroyed as well.
The offensive of Syrian army units is intensifying, in combination with air strikes by both Syria and Russia, the sources added. Over the past five days, the combined attacks have destroyed 579 terrorist targets, not only in Deir Ezzor, but also in the provinces of Raqqa, Latakia, Homs and Hama.
