La Paz, January 26 (RHC)-- Bolivian President Evo Morales is taking part in the celebrations for the 235th anniversary of the Oruro Revolution. As part of the festivities, the Bolivian leader will dedicate a number of social projects in the area, including sports centers, schools and medical centers.
According to Victor Hugo Vazquez, the governor of Oruro, it is expected that the Bolivian head of State will participate in almost all of the celebrations this year.
Vazquez also announced the construction of two major sewerage works. He said that an initial investment of 25 million bolivianos will benefit both rural and urban areas.
Celebrations for the Oruro Revolution will take place until February 10th, the actual anniversary of the rebellion in 1781.
