Caracas, January 28 (RHC)-- Diosdado Cabello, Deputy of the Venezuelan National Assembly for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has denounced new coup plots by right-wing sectors.
Cabello said enemies of the Bolivarian Revolution are using the country's current economic crisis as a pretext to prompt foreign intervention and overthrow the legitimate government of President Nicolás Maduro.
In his regular TV show 'Con el Mazo Dando' the Venezuelan lawmaker compared the current situation in Venezuela with events occurred in the country in 2000, saying that opposition sectors are trying hard to portray a distorted, chaotic image of the South American country.
Cabello denounced also the double standard of the opposition-controlled parliament, which rejected the economic emergency decree presented by Maduro on January 15th to try to solve the country's economic problems.
