United Nations, Feb 23 (RHC) The United Nations Security Council hosted an open debate on Tuesday for the construction of peace, the need for conflict prevention, and to avoid its relapse.
This was in light of severe crises that the UN has failed to detect in time or finalize.
The invitation to the event, circulated by Ambassador to the UN, Rafael Ramírez, said the debate would focus on subjects like the reconstruction of states affected by conflicts, the development of instruments of prevention and the role of regional and subregional organizations.
