La Paz, Mar 29 (RHC) A delegation led by Minister for Development Planning, Rene Orellana, traveled to India hold talks on investment, cooperation, technical support and donations.

Minister Orellana said they will contact ministers and executives interested on investing in Bolivia, and will negotiate cooperation on credits and joint ventures, in line with ongoing projects with Russia, China and other countries from Europe.

“The government wants to sign a pact with India to boost projects on infrastructure and production diversification,” said Minister Orellana, that also mentioned official interest to attract investments from friend countries.

Indian credits have an annual interest rate of 1.5 percent, are payable in 20 years, and are quite suitable to boost the  Economic and Social Development Plan for the 2016-2020 period, added the Bolivian Minister for Development Planning.
