Brasilia, Mar 30 (RHC)  The Democratic Movement of Brazil, the largest political party of Brazil, has decided to abandon the coalition with President Dilma Rousseff, and announced its members' resignation room government offices.

The break-off increases the chances for the political impeachment of the President and could encourage smaller parties to also abandon the executive.

In refuting the charges of irregularities, Dilma Rousseff said the attempts to take her to trial are tantamount to a coup. To prevent it, the President needs support from 171 Mps, a number the government thinks it can meet, with support from the Republican, Social Democrat and Progressive parties.
