Brasilia, May 30 (RHC-teleSUR) -- Brazil’s opposition political parties funded the main organizations that promoted the coup against President Dilma Rousseff, according to the site UOL.

Free Brazil Movement (MBL), one of the main civil organizations promoting the impeachment, used this money to fund logistics, protests, sound equipment, transportation, food, printing flyers and other propaganda material.

The Brazilian Democratic Movement Party (PMDB) in which current interim President Michel Temer holds the leadership, is one of the main funders, along with the Solidarity Party and Democrats.

According to Bruno Julio, president of the PMDB youth party, they funded the marches against Rousseff before the impeachment and outside the Senate during the final voting.

President Dilma Rousseff was impeached without evidence of a crime, and ousted her from her position for at least 180 days by the Senate.
