Sucre, 24 jun (RHC) El director del Instituto del Seguro Agrario, Erik Murillo, informó en la ciudad boliviana de La Paz que el gobierno ha indemnizado a 3 mil 700 familias productoras, cuyos cultivos fueron dañados por fenómenos naturales durante los últimos meses en los departamentos de Chuquisaca, Oruro y Potosí.
Precisó el funcionario que hasta la fecha se han entregado 331 mil dólares a personas damnificadas y en las próximas semanas serán indemnizadas al menos 8 mil familias más.
El seguro agrario es una iniciativa impulsada por el presidente Evo Morales y consiste en la entrega a los campesinos de 144 dólares por cada hectárea dañada.
