Havana, November 7 (RHC)-- Cuban President Raul Castro congratulated his Nicaraguan counterpart Daniel Ortega and his wife and vice presidential candidate Rosario Murillo for the victory of the Sandinista Front in the country's general elections on Sunday.
“Our Americas can now continue to count on you to advance the goal of justice and prosperity for our peoples and the so necessary Latin American and Caribbean integration,” said Raul Castro in his message to Daniel Ortega.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was also among the first to congratulate the Nicaraguan leader for the landslide Sandinista victory in the country's presidential elections.
