Havana, December 8 (RHC-ACN)-- The Attorney General of the People's Supreme Court of Vietnam Le Minh Tri is in Cuba on a working visit, aimed at strengthening cooperation ties with the Cuban General Attorney's Office.
In statements to Cuban press, Minh Tri recalled that both nations are united by history and his visit to Cuba gives continuity to a memorandum of understanding signed between both legal institutions in 2013.
He added that Cuban and Vietnamese courts have similar approaches on several legal and judicial issues, which is why both entities support each other at international fora.
The Vietnamese attorney general said his country and Cuba cooperate actively on legal issues dealing with computer science and cyber-crime, drug trafficking and corruption, among others.
