Havana, March 3 (RHC)-- The Cuban Council of Ministers met Thursday in Havana, presided over by President Raúl Castro. During the meeting, new regulations were adopted, dealing with such issues as IT development, quality control, metrology, fisheries and food security.
The new regulations are in line with the guidelines contained in the country's Economic and Social Policy adopted during the 7th Congress of the Cuban Communist Party.
The aim is to increase efficiency and competitiveness in all spheres of the Cuban economy and improve peoples' quality of life.
