Havana, March 22 (RHC), -- Cuban Minister of Agriculture Gustavo Rodríguez and his Czech counterpart, Marian Jurečka signed a memorandum of understanding, which promotes veterinary and phytosanitary cooperation between the two nations.
The agreement was signed in Havana with the aim of strengthening bilateral collaboration in methods related to animal and plant health; ecological agriculture, treatment of organic production, post-harvest management and organic fertilization processes.
The document encourages research, and practices related to agricultural biotechnology and agro-meteorology, as well as the resilience of agricultural areas affected by climate change.
