Cuban Medication Heberprot-P Enters European Market

Havana, May 24 (RHC)-- Slovakian patients will begin shortly to benefit from Heberprot-P for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. This way, Slovakia will become the first member of the European Union where the Cuban medication will be marketed and sold. 

In statements to the press, Slovakian Health Minister Boris Bánovský said that more than 8,000 Slovakians suffer from foot ulcers -- a common complication in diabetic patients.

He stressed that the aim is to offer patients the best possible treatment with a medicine of proven efficacy.
