Havana, May 29 (RHC)-- The Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, in accordance with Articles 78 and 90 of the country's Constitution, has called for an extraordinary session of the National Assembly of People's Power (Cuban Parliament), on June 1st, to analyze the two major documents about the ongoing process to update the country's socialist economic model.
The documents in question are entitled: Conceptualization of the Cuban Economic and Social Model of Socialist Development, and Policy Guidelines of the Party and the Revolution for the Period 2016-2021.
During Thursday's extraordinary parliamentary session, Cuban legislators will also received detailed information on the Social and Economic Development Plan through 2030.
