Havana, January 31 (RHC) -- The President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, is expected attend the International Book Fair of Havana 2014, scheduled for February 13th to the 23rd to present his book "From Banana Republic to No Republic."
According to Ecuador’s Culture Minister, Francisco Velasco, other top officials from the South American country will participate in the literary meeting, including Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño and Defense Minister Fernanda Espinosa.
Some 36 important writers and intellectuals from Ecuador, this year’s guest of honor of the fair, will also attend the event.
Meanwhile, Cuban Ambassador to Quito, Jorge Rodriguez, reported that 160 world personalities and 138 publishing houses have confirmed their attendance at the Havana Fair, which has consolidated itself as Cuba’s main cultural event for some years now.
