Havana, June 21 (RHC-PL)-- The National Symposium on Primary and Family Health Care will be held on June 27th and 28th in Havana.
According to organizers of the event, which also seeks to strengthen primary health care to provide the Cuban population with better attention, the national symposium will be attended by representatives from the United States and Spain.
Lilia Gonzalez, President of the organizing committee told Prensa Latina news agency that the event will tackle changes in the national health care system, training of human resources and improving the quality of services.
Gonzalez said that the symposium will also seek to update doctors and nurses with a program to recover the basic concepts, as well as organization, financing, efficiency and sustainability of the health care system.
