Havana, November 20 (RHC)-- The International Congress of Agricultural Sciences, Agrociencias 2017, began Monday in Cuba with the participation of some 400 specialists from about twenty countries.
The official opening of the event included a keynote address by Mario Pablo Estrada, specialist from the Cuban Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
Countries represented are the United States, New Zealand, France, Mexico, Venezuela and the Republic of Korea, among others.
Cuban delegates amount to about 260, from all universities in the country related to the agricultural sector.
