Rome, December 20 (RHC-PL)-- Pope Francis has thanked Cuban circus artists for their display at his weekly General Audience at the Vatican on Wednesday.
After witnessing the performance of the young people, the Pontiff highlighted their virtuosity and joy, and said that circus artists enrich society with the ambition of nurturing feelings of hope and confidence.
The participants in the presentation at the Vatican form part of the Havana Company in the National Circus of Cuba, which is currently in Rome as part of a tour of six Italian cities.
