Havana, December 23 (RHC) -- The Mechanical Production Company in the Cuban province of Villa Clara will undergo a modernization project next year to improve its infrastructure and increase production and efficiency levels.

The plant, the main supplier of equipment and parts for the sugar industry, also guarantees important components for the metallurgical, steel, cement, mining and petroleum industries.

The investment includes the rehabilitation and modernization of technological equipment, to improve the processes of smelting and thermal treatment, as well as to increase the molding capacity in order to obtain a greater use in the production of iron and steel volumes.
