Paris, January 3 (RHC-PL)-- UNESCO has sent a congratulatory message to Cuba for the anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution on January 1st, according to the permanent delegate of our country to that UN body.
According to a statement, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization expressed its willingness to continue strengthening ties with the Caribbean nation, recognizing its traditional active role in "the promotion of international cooperation."
Last year in 2017, Cuba and UNESCO celebrated seventy years of a fruitful relationship, a framework in which a number of activities were carried out that contributed to recognize and give visibility to the achievements of the Revolution in various sectors of the organization's mandate.
