Havana, January 8 (RHC)-- Cuban President Raúl Castro receives the President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, Monday in Havana during her official visit to the country.
In another activity on Monday, the Chilean president pays tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, at the Plaza de la Revolución.
She will also participate in a business forum and will exchange with students and workers of the Salvador Allende pedagogical school.
Last night, the Chilean head of state attended a gathering at the headquarters of UNEAC, the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, to sign a cooperation agreement in the audiovisual field. While she was there, Michelle Bachelet also spoke with Cuban artists and intellectuals.
