Washington, January 15 (RHC-Minrex)-- Cuban and U.S. authorities have held a technical meeting in Washington D.C. regarding cooperation in cyber-security and the combat against cyber-crimes. The meeting came within the context of the law enforcement dialogue, which was established by both parties in November 2015.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of respect and professionalism. The Cuban delegation was composed of representatives of the ministries of the Interior, Communications and Foreign Affairs while the U.S. delegation was made up of officials from the departments of Homeland Security, Justice and State.
The delegations of both countries shared the view on the importance to advance cooperation in this area and agreed to continue holding these technical meetings in the future.
